Oh.... Lets hope they see no oil or else....

If there’s oil on the track they can’t brake anyways.
That was one of the support races for MotoGP which is why there are so many riders.

Are we doing MotoppoGP again? Or no since it was just like 4 of us...

Not happening, no. Next to no one ever really gives a shit.

Bold prediction: Lorenzo is gonna run away with the title this year. It will be wrapped up with at least 3 rounds to go.

I love when designers become nihilistic
“Oh it won’t brake anyway, so why try? Stick carbons!”

Moto GP is the Pinnacle of racing

I’m pissed that it looks like the Duc is the bike to beat this year.. and Lorenzo’s riding it. But Rossi’s duc was a total POS.............

Or... Lorenzo and Marquez will keep taking each other out due to their wildly different riding styles (either on laps 1-2 or somewhere around laps 10-15).
Dovi will win, Rossi 2nd, Zarco 3rd. Maverick’s confidence/handling woes will continue. In every race, Cal will get into the top 5 in last quarter and bin it with three laps to go.
No, wait.
Dani will win.
It could happen. #Believe!

It’s not that they designed that way intentionally. It’s just if you’re on racing slicks, and there is oil on the track, and you hit the oil you’re going down.
Like peter said they run steel brakes in the wet, and they also have covers to keep the temps up on certain tracks or for certain riders like Pedrosa who doesn’t generate as much heat in the brakes/tires.

So pumped. Pulling for number 4
But, I was very annoyed about the Sepang test, they didn’t actually show any testing, just highlights and interviews. I want to see bikes on the track dammit!

I kid.
its a fascinating design, I hope more bikes get them!

I can’t wait. Things are shaping up to be a close fight for the championship. Here’s my pre-season thoughts:
I really want Dovi to win it, but after the first test, I’m worried that Lorenzo is gonna be a real threat this year. I still think Dovi will edge him out though.
Marquez is still the favorite, but if the bike is easier to ride Pedrosa might finally get another shot at a title.
I don’t think Yamaha have figured out the fickle nature of their bike yet so Maverick and Rossi won’t be consistent enough to really take it.
I think Alex Rins and Suzuki are gonna be a bit of a dark horse. Suzuki has seemingly fixed the problems with last years bike and they have concessions again. Rins, looked really sharp in the last few races and in the first preseason test.
Should be a lot of fun to watch!

If you look at history and riding styles, Lorenzo performs best when he puts a 1+ second gap on the field on the first lap and then runs un-opposed the rest of the race. Given how well he did in testing, there’s a very real possibility that he will do that multiple times this upcoming year.
There will be much scrapping (and crashing) in the 2-5 position, which is what will help Lorenzo to run away at the front.

I’m still hoping that Rossi can pull one more out... If not, I’d like to see Dovi on top.
